Recently, 263 Global and Equinix launched a new round of cooperation. A new service node of 263 Global has been added in Equinix’s IBX^® TY9 data centre in Tokyo, Japan. The node is directly connected to 263’s service node located in Shanghai, China through two submarine cables - APCN2 and TPE. Compared with the existing backbone, the delay of this service nodes is reduced to 27ms while its capacity is greatly increased. In future, 263 Global will adjust, increase and expand the direct channels from Tokyo to Hong Kong, Tokyo to the West of the United States, and Tokyo to Seoul to further optimize and improve the global backbone network architecture and coverage. 

The 263 Global TY9 service node was officially opened and put into operation on September 1, 2020. So far, global network layout strategy of 263 Global has started a new round of expansion.
